Protect the Monarch Butterfly
Help save the monarch butterfly!
This Sunday is Western Monarch Day, and these beautiful creatures need our help. There has been a dramatic and rapid decline of the monarch butterfly population in Mexico, so much so the that their future is uncertain. This is due to pesticides used in commercial farming and the deforestation of their habitat. Along with the bee, the monarch butterfly is an essential pollinator for our ecosystem.
Greater Good Charities is on a mission to assure the long-term survival of the monarch butterfly through the conservation and restoration of forests. With your donation, they can plant essential trees for the Monarch butterflies. Â
You can help rebuild the monarch butterfly’s habitats where they seek shelter and food during its migrations. By making a donation, you help plant trees in the region and help them engage the local populations in this restoration effort.Â
With your help we can save more of the monarch population. Just $15 can plant 30 trees for these butterflies.
