Single Prop Yoga Meditation Sculpture
This Yogi’s presence inspires inner peace. A Yogi exerts great self-control as he stands on one leg while he rests his chin on his raised knee. Wayan Rendah carves his image form a single block of suar wood, leaving an empty space where his back should be. Yogis are much admired people who roam the countryside in search of purification and knowledge through the practice of yoga, meditation, ecstatic trances and frightening self-mortification.
