Indian artisan Babun Dey is fortunate in that his work is also his passion. ‘I knew I wanted to design jewelry as my profession, and my father taught me everything he knew,’ he says. ‘I love to work with stunning and vibrant gemstones.’ He presents a necklace whose rectangular pendant has an alluring design; onyx’s black hue contrasts with the bright metallic tones of sterling silver ornamentation to evoke images of a romantic nighttime rendezvous illuminated only by moonlight. The pendant is suspended from a sterling silver rolo chain with a lobster claw clasp.
