Sea Turtle Companions Original Jempinis and Benalu Wood Turtle Sculpture
The unique forms of benalu wood, related to the mistletoe, lend themselves to the original sculptures of Yudi Suardi. Here, benalu wood evokes a coral reef, above which swims a pair of sea turtles. The turtles are carved by hand from jempinis wood with a natural finish.
