Playing a melodious sitar, a mermaid is surrounded by a world of colorful flowers, starfish, and fish. Mexican artisan Javier Ramirez creates this traditional ‘tree of life’ sculpture. Each figure is diligently crafted from ceramic and painted by hand, assembled by steel wire.
