Beneath the hot Brazilian sun, a fisherman steers his boat into his favorite spot beneath a palm tree on the shore. He drops his line into waters teeming with fish. On the deck, a basket is already brimming with the days catch, so abundant that even a smiling octopus fishes as well. Ivan Borges works in the woodcut technique to create this naif scene in blue and white.
