Fulani Spiral Djenne Drop Earrings
Fulani people are one of the largest ethnic groups in the Sahel and West Africa. These earrings are named for the Great Mosque of Djenne – one of the wonders of Africa, and one of the most unique religious buildings in the world. The Fulani gold is actually twisted brass that is hammered until it is nearly paper thin, and then twisted to create the intricate look of the earrings.
