Help People and Pets Hit by Extreme Weather
Critical Need: Help People and Pets Affected by Severe Storms Across the U.S.
Extreme storms tore through the Central U.S. over Memorial Day weekend, with more severe weather expected across the country in the coming days.
More than 21 people are dead, with hundreds more injured by tornadoes, wind, and flooding. Greater Good Charities is actively communicating with partners in impacted areas to assess the need so we can assist however necessary. Please help so we can respond quickly as requests for aid arrive from organizations helping people, and animal shelters caring for pets in these extreme weather conditions.Â
As severe weather events become more common, your support helps us act immediately to help to people and pets in need.
Greater Good Charities is dedicated to being there when it matters. With the help of our amazing community of donors, we’ve provided truckloads of supplies, food for both people and animals, medicine, emergency transport for pets and much-needed funding in the wake of extreme weather events like devastating hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, and dangerous flooding.
We approach flood response in three complementary ways: thinking ahead and preparing communities for imminent natural disasters, responding during flooding by helping on the ground with supplies and relief work, and boosting recovery by directly aiding people and pets and helping to rebuild infrastructure. But we can’t do it without YOU.
We need YOUR help now! Your support allows Greater Good Charities to prepare first response teams as quickly as possible whenever the next disaster strikes. Your donation can support Greater Good Charities’ disaster relief efforts to help those affected by life-altering floods.Â
