Funded – Help Save Misha’s Legs
Help Misha run and play pain-free!
Misha was surrendered for adoption by her owner who could not provide the attention, enrichment and medical/orthopedic care needed. The shelter discovered that Misha is missing digits—the part of the paw that provides cushion and support—on both rear limbs. Because of this, she often shifts her weight to her front limbs and walks in a “handstand” on rough surfaces, providing temporary relief but ultimately doing more damage.
X-rays are needed for both rear limbs, followed by a fitting for appropriate prosthetics that would restore leg function and allow Misha to roam pain free. Given her young age and eagerness to join in the activities of those around her, Misha’s recovery period should be minimal once prosthetics are fitted and she’s given time to explore different spaces.
You can help sweet Misha begin her treatment. Your support will not only give Misha the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover the ongoing care and food she will need.
Help us meet our goal of $2,100 to feed and care for Misha. Funds raised over the goal amount will go to supporting Greater Good Charities’ life-saving programs.
