Orphaned Baby Deer Needs Specialized Care to Grow
Paschalis – meaning “The Easter One” in Greek – was rescued from a roadway on Good Thursday. He was found crying out for his mother, who was nowhere to be found. His rescuer initially provided ewe formula to him, but he couldn’t provide all the care needed for this tiny roe deer. Through a friend, he was referred to ANIMA – Hellenic Wildlife Care Association in Greece.
Fawns can be very sensitive and require tender, focused care to survive, especially without their mothers. Paschalis has been receiving this care along with many other fawns who have found their way to ANIMA, which has been dealing with more than usual this year. As they grow, their care continues at a specialized enclosure until they’re bigger and ready for release.Â
You can help ensure Paschalis and his friends get the tender care they need to become healthy, robust adults that can thrive in the wild. Will you help them become strong enough to be released?
Help Paschalis get the care he needs to grow and thrive!
You can help Paschalis get the tender care he needs for safe release into the wild. Your gift will not only give him safety while he grows, but your donations will help cover his ongoing care until he’s ready to go back home.
