Benjamin Buttons Needs Emergency Surgery to Repair Damaged Tissue
URGENT: After several rounds of laser treatment to remove harmful scar tissue, Benjamin is experiencing complications and needs another surgery!
Benjamin Buttons and his siblings were taken from their mother prematurely, leaving them malnourished and without the comfort practice of nursing. In lieu of nursing on their mom, the litter began nursing on Benjamin. This caused intense pain and a buildup of scar tissue, obstructing him from urinating.
Thanks to generous gifts from our donors, Benjamin was able to undergo several laser treatments which healed some of the damaged tissue. Unfortunately, Benjamin is still in excruciating pain and will need another surgery to remove the excess scar tissue as well as relieve his pain. Despite all Benjamin Buttons has been through since starting this journey, he remains a trooper, patient and sweet.
Benjamin has made so much progress since arriving at the shelter, but without this next operation, his scar tissue will continue to cause pain as well as affect his chances of adoption. Will you help Benjamin Buttons take the next step on his path towards recovery?
Benjamin needs more surgery to fully heal from tissue damage – can you help?
You can help Benjamin get the intensive treatment he needs to heal. Your gifts have not only given him the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover his emergency surgery and ongoing care.
Help us meet our goal of $6,000 for Benjamin and pets like him. Any funds raised over the goal amount will go to Greater Good Charities’ lifesaving programs.
