Funded: Emaciated, One-Eyed Fox Cub Needs Love & Care
Update:Â Red has recovered thanks to your support. The wildlife rescue shared, “We’re thrilled to share that this lucky cub quickly responded to the treatment! After ten days in intensive care, it was moved to the fox enclosure in Kalivia, where it will stay until it’s fit for release.” Thank you for saving his life!Â
Red was weak, emaciated, and had one eye closed when he was discovered by concerned animal lovers who took him to Hellenic Wildlife Care Association in Greece.
He was in such bad shape that he had to be transferred to one of the association’s more specialized facilities. Once he arrived, blood tests showed that he had two infections: one within his eye and one in his respiratory system. Veterinarians weren’t sure if they would be able to save his eye. So far, he’s responded well to antibiotics and a strengthening and fattening diet. He’s even regained the use of his right eye!
You can help Red heal up completely and prepare for release back into the wild by supporting his care. Will you help Red become healthy enough to be released?
Help Red heal and be rehabilitated!
You can help Red get the treatment he needs for safe release into the wild. Your gift will not only give him the hope of better days ahead, but your donations will help cover his ongoing care until he’s ready to go back home.
