After Khaire was hit by a car, left alone and in pain, a rescue group received a call for a dog in distress. Staff were sent to retrieve the injured pup and bring him back to their facilities for specialized treatment.Â
Unfortunately, the wounds to Khaire’s right foreleg were so severe that the vet was forced to amputate to guarantee his safety. This gentle boy remains under medical care with the rescue group, receiving antibiotics and daily bandage changes to prevent infection. His total recovery time will be about two months. Despite his injuries, Khaire is always eager to greet people with a wagging tail!
You can help sweet Khaire get the best treatment. Your support will not only give him the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover the ongoing care and food he will need.
Help us meet our goal of $1,500 to feed and care for pets like Khaire. Funds raised over the goal amount will go to supporting Greater Good Charities’ life-saving programs.
