Funded: Help Bring Back Noel’s Smile
UPDATE: After months of intensive care, Noel has fully recovered. This resilient feline beat the odds and survived. She is ready to find a loving home with a window to watch birds and bask in the sun. Noel thanks you for your support and is ready to find her person.
When sweet Noel was rescued and brought to the shelter, she was in dire health. This sweet cat had many necrotic teeth requiring removal, plus several ulcers in her mouth.
Noel was hospitalized and given antibiotics and fluids to stabilize her. Once she had gained enough strength, doctors were able to remove some of the rotted teeth in her mouth, majorly improving her quality of life.
Now, Noel is doing better but has occasional flareups. She recently took another trip to the vet when shelter staff noticed her diminished appetite. She had a painful sore on her gums and was given anti inflammatory medication and antibiotics. Will you help Noel continue treatment and manage her flareups?
Support Noel as she recovers from traumatic mouth injuries!
In late 2023, Greater Good Charities was approached by groups working in the city of Xanthi, Northern Greece, to assist in the support of over 600 pets eking out an existence in and around a municipal rubbish site. Since then, working alongside The Animal Rescue Site and community partners, they have provided food, specialist medical care, funded high quality spay/neuter services and supported foster and adoption for dozens of dogs.
Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are in the process of deepening our commitment to the pets of Xanthi, ensuring every animal has the support it needs. We are also expanding our reach to several new areas in Greece, supporting both cats and dogs in need.
Noel is just one of many pets we’re helping in Greece, but we can’t cover her ongoing care without your support. Help us meet our goal of $6,000 for Noel and pets like her. Any funds raised over the goal amount will go to Greater Good Charities’ lifesaving programs.
