Funded: Help Francine Heal From Fracture
Francine was brought into an animal shelter in San Diego as a stray. Upon her arrival, staff quickly noticed she was in need of immediate medical care.
This poor kitten sustained a fractured pelvis from the accident and will need multiple surgeries to repair the injury. Francine’s tail, which was also fractured, became severely infected and will need to be amputated. While Francine waits for surgery, she is in supportive care receiving fluids and medication for her pain.
With surgery, Francine is expected to make a full recovery considering her age and otherwise good health. Shelter staff will oversee her rehabilitation before she goes home with a foster. While Francine has begun the road to recovery and is scheduled for surgery, she needs your help to cover her ongoing medical care.Â
