Funded: Help Heal Tonka’s Eyes So He Can See a Brighter Future
Tonka was brought into an Oklahoma animal shelter as a stray. This poor boy had a severely prolapsed rectum, as well as the condition known as “cherry eye”—swollen and protruding eyelid glands.
Tonka needs multiple surgeries to heal. He’s already had an operation to correct his rectal prolapse, and after a week in rehabilitation, he’s on track for a full recovery there. While Tonka awaits surgery to treat his swollen eye glands, he’s in supportive care receiving fluids and pain medication.
Once Tonka’s eyes are treated, he’s expected to make a full recovery and will finally go home with his new foster family! While he has begun the road to recovery and is scheduled for surgery, he needs your help to cover his ongoing medical care.
Tonka needs surgery to correct painful eye condition left untreated!
You can help Tonka get the intensive treatment he needs to heal. Your gift will not only give him the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover his ongoing care.
Help us meet our goal of $6,000 for Tonka and pets like him. Any funds raised over the goal amount will go to Greater Good Charities’ lifesaving programs.
