Success! Thank you for helping Lacey recover from surgery and live cancer-free!
About Lacey:
Location:Â Marana, Arizona
Breed:Â Chihuahua mix
Age:Â 5-6 years
Best Trait:Â Affectionate and friendly
Medical Problem:Â Cancerous mammary ulcer
Treatment:Â Emergency surgery
Â
Lacey came to Cherished Tails Senior Sanctuary with a large ulcerated mammary mass. It spanned almost the full length of her belly. If she had stayed with Animal Control, she likely would have been euthanized because it would be too expensive to have the ulcer removed.
After being rushed to urgent care, Lacey was brought to an oncologist who was able to remove the large mass successfully. Now, Lacey is cancer free! Because it was such a large mass, it will be a little while before she is fully recovered, and she is currently waiting to have her sutures taken out.
You can help sweet Lacey recover from her difficult surgery. Your support will not only give Lacey the hope to keep fighting, but will cover her costly surgery and the ongoing care she will need.
Help us meet our goal of $3,500 to care for Lacey and pets like her.
