Funded: Michelle And Her Kittens Need You To Beat Severe Illness
Michelle & Her Babies Are Fighting to Survive
Michelle and her three kittens are just a few of the thousands of pets who are the innocent victims of Russia’s brutal aggression in Ukraine. Rescuers found them sick and alone in an area that has been abandoned following repeated attacks.
They were brought to the Patron Pet Center in Kyiv where doctors discovered the kittens were infected with the highly contagious calicivirus. After undergoing treatment, further diagnostics revealed these poor kitties had also contracted feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). To top it off, Michelle’s gums were inflamed and, since treatment didn’t help, she had to have all her teeth extracted.Â
This little family is starting to recover from all the terrible experiences they’ve endured but they need all the support they can get. You can help cover their medical expenses and ongoing care!Â
Brave volunteers are risking their lives to save animals left behind on war-torn streets and bring them back to the Patron Pet Center. However, the center is overcrowded and desperately needs more kennels.Â
The Animal Rescue Site is partnering with the Patron Pet Center and Greater Good Charities to help build a quarantine room and dedicated space to house over 200 rescued cats until they find a new loving family. Â
The Patron Pet Center is a state-of-the-art facility that was designed with pets in mind. Animals that have been traumatized by war are treated both physically and mentally before they are put up for adoption. A veterinarian and architect created the relaxing space to help both dogs and cats recover from everything they’ve endured.Â
