Give the Earth Some Love: Plant a Tree
Between 1990 and 2020, an estimated 1.6 million square miles of forest were wiped out.
Donate now and help us fight climate change and make the planet healthier by planting trees. Every dollar donated to our reforestation program funds the planting of a seedling, revitalizing crucial habitat.

Healthy forests promote water quality, store carbon, and provide habitat for a wide range of mammals, birds, and amphibians. They’re also important to our day-to-day lives, as more than 1.6 billion people across the globe depend on forests for food, jobs, shelter, timber, and fuel. Unfortunately, we’ve lost a large share of this critical resource over the past several decades.
Though the rate of deforestation has slowed in recent years, roughly 39,000 square miles per year were still lost between 2015 and 2020. Climate change, invasive species, diseases, and wildfires are also threatening our trees and impacting the health of our forests.
Improving forest health is an essential part of improving the health of our planet. That’s why we’ve partnered with several organizations and agencies to plant trees. One such partnership has been with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ Future Forest Fund, which plants trees around the state in areas where the need is greatest.
Together with the Minnesota DNR we’ve planted red oak, white pine, and white spruce trees in the Lake Superior region to help ensure healthy mixed hardwood-conifer forests in northeastern Minnesota. These provide winter cover for white-tailed deer, help with carbon storage, improve water quality, and provide recreation opportunities and forest products to the people in the area.
We plan to continue this partnership and its benefits for years to come. Your donation helps keep forests healthy, to keep our planet healthy!
