Help Snooka Run and Play After Leg Fracture
When Snooka was attacked and dragged by a stray dog, his owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him to get the care he needed. Rescue staff jumped into action and rushed this poor pup to a veterinary hospital.
Snooka’s left hind leg was fractured, and he underwent surgery. Afterward, he didn’t seem to be healing properly, still unable to put weight on the injured leg. Further x-rays determined that the stabilizing rod in Snooka’s leg was too long, restricting mobility in his knee joint and causing hip discomfort.
Snooka will need a stabilizing rod with a proper fit, as well as another round of x-rays to ensure the fracture has healed before he can be adopted. Will you help Snooka continue his care so he can run and play again?
