Make a Way Handcrafted African Sese Wood Mask from Ghana
Designed and hand-carved out of sese wood and aluminum by artisan Daniel Quarcoo of Ghana, this mask is festively adorned with bright colors and a variety of patterns. On the mask’s forehead is the Adinkra symbol for unity that reminds us that unity lies in strength and community. The artisan names the mask Morkporkpor, which means ‘one who makes a way’ in the Ewe language.
