Each pair is handmade at Quazi Design, an organization started in 2009 to create much needed employment for women in Swaziland, Africa. In addition Quazi, aims to change the perception of recycled materials by developing innovative techniques combined with locally-sourced, environmentally-friendly, or recycled materials.
