Rustic Friends Metallic Upcycled Metal Sculpture
Mexico’s Armando RamÃrez conjures the image of a man sitting on a bench, leisurely reading the paper with his dog by his side. RamÃrez transforms a regular sparkplug into the man’s body. His head is made from a discarded piece off a die machine and his hat is made with discarded pieces off a die machine. The dog’s body is made with parts with wires and a car’s clutch, while it’s ears are made from die pieces. The bench is made from the discarded pieces off a die machine.Â
Please note it is the artist’s intention not to give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
