Sacred Book Hand-Painted Pinewood Wall Cross from El Salvador
Working to provide a steady stream of work for its artisans, the Salvadoran cooperative God’s Seed presents this religious wall cross. Crafted of pinewood, the cross is carefully painted by hand to feature the image of colorful birds that flank the Holy Bible, floating above a Salvadoran town. The arms of the cross are carved to conform to the birds’ wings.
