Sibetan Woman Bone Dangle Earrings of a Sibetan Woman from Bali
Balinese artisan Made Wardika hand-carves pieces of bone to depict the portrait of a woman in a pair of dangle earrings. Says the artisan, the earrings represent a woman from Sibetan, characterized by feathers and elegant designs in her hair. Sibetan is part of Bali’s Karangasem district, where the active volcano Mount Agung rests. The earrings dangle from stainless steel hooks.
